We are delighted to invite your esteemed institution to be a part of the Historic Founder's Day 2026 celebrations of Vidyasagar Metropolitan College, Kolkata.

Founded in the spirit of social reform and education for all, Vidyasagar Metropolitan College draws inspiration from Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, the legendary educator, reformer, and champion of women’s empowerment. Established in 1961 under the aegis of The University of Calcutta, Vidyasagar Metropolitan College, erstwhile Vidyasagar Evening College, is a co-educational government-aided degree college. For decades, our college has been committed to nurturing academic excellence and holistic development.
