About the Library:
The Vidyasagar Metropolitan College Library provides facilities and services to its students, faculty, staff, and other scholars and information users. The Library hold more than 30,000 cataloged items consisting of books, periodicals, and large amount of electronic databases through participation of N-LIST initiated by INFLIBNET. In addition, Library contains 18 magazines and journals.
Aims and Objectives:
To support Academic and Research Programs.
Facilitate access to library services for on-site and remote users.
Provide online instruction to users about research processes and the effective identification and use of information resources.
To utilize appropriate, up-to-date technology.
Take advantage of new developments as appropriate and fiscally possible.
Working Hours:
The library is open from 12:00 Noon to 08:00 P.M. everyday except Sunday and holidays.
