The Environmental Consciousness Committee aims tonurture environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices within the institution. The committee is committed to instilling a sense of responsibility and sensitivity toward environmental issues among students, faculty, and staff.By collaborating with environmental organizations and involving the campus community in green practices, the committee aims to reduce the institution's ecological footprint and contribute to the global movement toward environmental protection.
Objective:
To educate and sensitize all students and staff of college about environmental issues and sustainable living.
To foster eco-friendly habits such as reducing plastic use, conserving energy and water, and promoting waste segregation.
To plan and conduct eco-activities like plantation drives and environmental awareness events.
To recommend and help implement policies for green infrastructure, energy-efficient systems, and waste management.
To partner with NGOs, government agencies, and other institutions for environmental programs and initiatives.
To evaluate and monitor the institution's environmental footprint and suggest improvements.
