ADMISSION NORMS

The academic session of the College is counted from July to June. Admission commences after the publication of results of the Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations and closed on the date notified by Calcutta University. Candidates seeking admission into Honours and General Courses are admitted strictly on the basis of merit to be determind on the basis marks in the qualifying examination, interview/ admission test/ councelling at the time of admission. Separate application in prescribed form for each subject in Honours / General Courses of study is to be submitted within the notified date and time.

Documents required during admission :

1. Photocopy of mark-sheet of H.S. or equivalent examination, Age proof certificate.
2. Transfer certificate in case of transfer from one College to another.
3. Migration certificate in case of other boards.
4. Caste certificate for SC / ST candidates.
5. Student visa for foreign students.

- Selected candidates are to produce original testimonials for verification at the time of admission along with two recent passport size photograph. They are to deposit admission and other fees within the notified date failing which their admission shall be cancelled and the College shall bear no responsibility for such cancellation and refund of money deposited in the bank after the said notified date.

- Only candidates from Boards / Councils / Universities recognized by C.U. are eligible for admission and the College shall bear no responsibility for any wrong admission made inadvertently or due to suppression or misstatement of facts by any candidate.
