1st Year Admission Session 2017-18
(Second phase admission) for all Honours courses (except Geography Honours) and all general courses:


Admission Procedure & Rules :
  • Admission forms can be filled up from the link available in the College website or at www.vidyasagareveningadmissions.com or at www.collegeadmission.in from 03/07/2017 to 09/07/2017 and after filling the required fields and uploading of photograph (Passport size in formal dress without dark glasses)and signature, the candidate should take print out of the Application Fee „Deposit Slip‟. Valid Mobile number and email ID are required for the admission process.
  • Subject combinations available along with code of different subjects can be obtained in the subject combination page of the college web site.
  • A Processing Fee of Rs. 270/- (Bank charges included) to be deposited against the "Deposit Slip" at any branch of SBI within the stipulated period of time mentioned in that slip. Any fee deposited after that time will make cancellation of the application.
  • Among the three portions of the "Deposit Slip" the applicant will retain the "student's copy" and the „college copy‟.The „college copy’ has to be submitted at the time of verification.
  • Once the applicant has paid the Processing Fee against the Deposit Slip he must go back to the Online Admission Site and Confirm Payment to take Print of his Application Form. To confirm payment the Applicant must enter his Application Form No., Date of Birth, Details of the SBI branch where he has deposited his processing fee along with the date of submission of processing fee. The applicant should take a print out of the Application Form after submission of processing Fee at Bank.
  • Separate admission forms have to be filled up for consideration in the merit list for different subjects. One candidate can apply only once in one subject.
  • Provisional merit list for all Honours courses (except Geography Honours) will be published in the website on 11.07.2017 after 5:00 P.M. without any thorough scrutiny and verification of the admission forms. Students will be admitted from the listed candidates on merit basis. Any wrong inclusion or exclusion in the merit list due to any incorrect information is liable to cancellation of the application form.
  • After publication of merit list, college authority will notify the serial number in the respective merit list who can take admission. Those allowed candidates will take print out of the admission fee challan, deposit the printed amount to any S.B.I branch having core banking facility or through on line banking via "SBI COLLECT" ( Link available in admission website). Combination of general subjects will be distributed on first come first served basis (till availability of that particular combination). However authority reserves the right to allot any particular combination to any candidate.
  • No candidate will be allowed to take admission with Hindi as combination subject unless studying the same in previous board examination as full paper of 100 marks.
  • ADMISSION TO B.A./B.Sc. GENERAL COURSES:
  • For admission in B.A. and B.Sc. General Courses admission will be taken from respective merit list. After publication of merit list, college authority will notify the serial number in the respective merit list who can take admission. Those allowed candidates will take print out of the admission fee challan, come to college, and deposit the admission fee by DEBIT/CREDIT card or by cash to get admission.Combination of subjects will be distributed on first come first served basis (till availability of that particular combination). However authority reserves the right to allot any particular combination to any candidate.

    No candidate will be allowed to take admission with Hindi as combination subject unless studying the same in previous board examination as full paper of 100 marks.

    Admission to B.Com General course will follow the same procedure to that for Honours courses.
  • Detail program for verification /admission will be published along with the merit list.
  • At the time of verification the applicant should bring the print out of the application form. It should be signed by the candidate and his/her legal guardian at the space provided in the form. The applicant should bring the required documents listed in the 'documents required' page of the college website. Original Mark sheet must not be laminated.
  • Scrutiny and verification of the admission forms will be made at the time issuing admit order.
  • Candidates must not pay any body for admission to any course except payments to Bank /College office by valid fee challan.
  • Students from the Boards other than W.B.C.H.S.E., I.S.C., C.B.S.E. are required to produce authentic level certificate from the respective Boards at the time of verification.
  • All admissions are provisional and may be cancelled if any false information is detected at any time in future.
  • Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC and PH are applicable in all courses as per C.U. norms.
  • Orientation Program for newly admitted students of will held according to the schedule to be given along with the Merit List.

Documents Required :
  • Admit card/age proof certificate: Madhyamik Examination or equivalent: Original and one photo copy.
  • Marksheet : Higher secondary or equivalent: Original and one photo copy.
  • Authenticity Certificate and transfer certificate: In case of incumbents from boards other than H.S, I.S.C and C.B.S.E.
  • One copy coloured pass port size photograph of the candidate.
  • Photocopy of Photoidentity proof of the guardian (Voter I.Card / PAN Card / Driving License / Bank Pass Book front page / Passport etc.) and one copy coloured pass port size photograph of the guardian.
  • Transfer certificate from college authority if the student is already admitted to any other college.
  • Caste certificate for SC, ST and OBC candidates and Disability Certificate for Physically Handicapped candidates from appropriate authority: original and one photocopy.

The above documents along with print out of the application form duly signed by the incumbent and his/her legal guardian to be produced at the time of verification/issuing of admit order.

  • Admission forms can be filled from the link available in the College website or at www.vidyasagareveningadmissions.com or at www.collegeadmission.in from 31.05.2017 to 12.06.2017 and after filling the required fields and uploading of coloured photograph (Passport size in formal dress without dark glasses) and signature, the candidate should take print out of the Application Fee ‘Deposit Slip’. Valid Mobile number and E-mail ID are required for the admission process.
  • Subject Combinations available along with code of different subjects can be obtained in the subject combination page of the college web site.
  • A Processing Fee of Rs. 200/- (Bank charges extra) to be deposited against the ‘Deposit Slip’ at any branch of SBI within the stipulated period of time mentioned in that slip. Any fee deposited after that time will make cancellation of the application.

In this step the candidate will have to submit OTP (One Time Password) obtained as SMS & e mail to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Combination of general subjects will be distributed on first come first served basis (till availability of that particular combination). However authority reserves the right to allot any particular combination to any candidate.
  • No candidate will be allowed to take admission with Hindi as combination subject unless studying the same in previous board examination as full paper of 100 marks.
  • ADMISSION TO B.A/B.Sc GENERAL COURSES :
  • For admission in B.A. and B.Sc. General Courses admission will be taken from respective merit list. After publication of merit list, college authority will notify the serial number in the respective merit list who can take admission. For Honours Courses
